It's wet, are the lessons still going on?

Skateboarding & Rain Don't Mix!

In a perfect world, the weather would always be great for skateboarding. Unfortunately, we live in the Netherlands!

When it rains, lessons are cancelled because wet skateparks are slippery, unsafe and bad for the equipment.

If rain is forecast on your lesson day, check this page for an update at least 1 hour before your lesson starts to see if it's going ahead or cancelled.

We use Buienradar.nl and Weeroline.nl to check the weather forecast, so make sure you do too!

What Happens If a Skateboarding Lesson Is Cancelled Due to Rain?

When it rains, skateboarding lessons are postponed. Wet skateparks are slippery and unsafe, and the moisture can damage the equipment.

We follow the weather forecast on Buienradar.nl. and Weeronline.nl If rain is forecast one hour before your lesson starts, the lesson will be postponed.

Always check our Gaat Skateles Door? page for the latest update.

What Happens to the Cancelled Lesson?

We do our best to make up for postponed lessons due to bad weather. Depending on the circumstances, we offer one of the following options:

An extra lesson: The postponed lesson is added to the end of the five-lesson course series. If the weather forces us to cancel twice, we'll organise up to two extra lessons.
A double lesson: We may combine two lessons into one longer session in extreme circumstances.

Please Keep in Mind

Outdoor skateboarding depends on the weather, and unfortunately, we can't control it! We always do our best to keep things running smoothly and will inform you of any cancellations in time.

Thanks for your understanding, and let's hope for some good skate weather!
